Training...

Training for the SunRun on 19 April 2009.
6.87km in 43 minutes makes an average of 9.6km/h.
Not bad...
Especially after not running for 2.5 weeks...

Fridaynight Snowtubing!

After a stressy week we went with a couple of colleagues to Cypress Mountain for some Fridaynight Snowtubing!
The very first ride we did as a group of 10 and that one almost ended up in the parking lot! That was fun! So of course we tried to do that better!
The staff was not not amused and even told us at some point that they would take the tubes of us, if we didn't drag the next time...
Tsss, dragging is for sissy's...

Oops...

Also some other colleagues hit the fence...

Meten is weten!

Licensing a Vespa...

Day 1, employee #1:
"No, we can't do that, you need to have it inspected by Canadian Tire first."
"We need an English translation of your 'kentekenbewijs'."
"Vespa? Is that your first of last name?"
"Ehm, this form is not filled in right. We need a start-date and an end-date of your insurance."
"Are you the owner?"
"Your VIN-number has more than 11 characters and the 'system' doesn't like that."
"That's $2681 per year."

Day 2, employee #2:
"Sure, we can do that, can I have your driver's license?"
"Here's a letter where it states that your VIN-number is different, just show it to the police when you're pulled over. It will be all fine"
"That's $637 per year."
"Here's your plate, have a nice day!"

And off I went...:-)
